Sand and Material in the Gaps of a Brick Patio

Mix of various materials in a gap in a brick patio, including sand, small seedlings, cat fur, hickory nut shell fragments and soil. The stem in the foreground is approx 1/8" thick. Natural bright sunlight allows for maximum color and image detail. This macro picture was taken without the use of a tripod or other stabilizing surface.
